• Used to open or close a circuit.
• Non-fusible safety switches provide a means to manually connect or disconnect the load from the source.
• Fusible safety switches provide a means to manually open and close a circuit and overcurrent protection by means of installed fuses.
• Also commonly referred to as a disconnect switch or disconnect.
• Available from 30 to 1200A
• Enclosure: NEMA 1, NEMA 3R, NEMA 12 or 12/3R,
• NEMA 4, NEMA 4X and NEMA 7/9.

Rotary switch T 

T rotary switches are available in three basic designs:

• Flush mounting (front fixing)
• Centre mounting (base fixing with coupling)
• Surface mounting (insulated enclosure)

Switch disconnector P
Just like rotary switches T, switch disconnectors P are manually operated switching devices without any release or switch mechanism, but with a direct link between the manual operating element and the contact.
